The customer account you created during checkout is different from the one you make when you sign up to get Lustora newsletters. It is possible to have a store account (which makes checkout faster and easier the next time you shop), with or without getting newsletters from us in your inbox.
Opting In
If you checked the box that says “Email me with news and offers” when creating your store account or completing your order, than you will get newsletters, too.
If you skip that opt-in checkbox when you create your store account, you will still receive critical emails about your order (like order confirmations and updates), but we won’t be able to send any extra goodies (like birthday surprises and discounts) via email.
